Eleventh edition of the World Snow Polo Championship in Aspen

Between Friday, the 15th, and Sunday, the 17th of December, the eleventh edition of the World Snow Polo Championship was held in Aspen, Colorado, United States. It is one of the world’s top snow polo tournaments and the final stop on the World Polo Tour.

Melissa and Marc Ganzi, Aspen Valley Polo Club owners and hosts of the event, welcomed Adolfo Cambiaso in this new edition, marking his first participation in the tournament.

Cambiaso was part of the 17-goal Aspen Valley team, sharing the field with Marc Ganzi and Jason Crowder. Juan Martín Nero, the 10-goal back of La Dolfina, also participated in the Blade & Bow team, the 18-goal defending champion of the tournament, alongside Scott Wood and Pablo Spinacci.

Mount Sopris, a majestic peak standing at 12,965 feet, provided a stunning backdrop to the tournament. Over the years, this event has become one of the most prominent sporting and social gatherings in Aspen, drawing players and enthusiasts from around the world.

The World Snow Polo Championship has become another destination where La Dolfina team members proudly carried the Argentine flag.  Soon, in a contrast of landscapes and climates, the team will be participating in the third edition of the Richard Mille Desert Polo tournament in AlUla, Saudi Arabia.
